Laura is President of Destination Marketing at Miles Partnership. She is based in Colorado and has been with Miles for eleven years but brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to her role. Laura’s specialty is in developing product plans that match clients’ needs and strategic objectives. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining productive relationships with Miles’ clients, as well as overall satisfaction with our services and products across the tourism spectrum.
Prior to joining Miles, Laura worked in event planning and fundraising for the Denver Zoo and Historic Denver. She also worked at the Colorado Tourism Office establishing the state’s heritage and cultural tourism program, overseeing the travel resources program and industry relations programs for the office.

Zeek Coleman
Vice President, Americas at Tourism Economics
At Tourism Economics, Zeek spearheads the delivery of economic solutions to DMO, association, and corporate clients. He has built a reputation for his ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
Prior to joining Tourism Economics, he was Head of Marketing for Tourism & Hospitality at ADARA, where his focus was successfully bringing new solutions to market — nurturing both product adoption and customer retention.
Prior to Adara, Zeek led Visit Savannah as Director of Data Intelligence for over a decade, where he specialized in delivering high-quality data and insights.
In both roles, he emerged as a trusted thought leader on how to deploy travel analytics to maximize impact and has solidified himself as a sought-after speaker at industry events.
John David
President & CEO, Sports Events and Tourism Association
John David is the President and CEO of the Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA). As the only trade association for the sports events and tourism industry, Sports ETA is the most trusted resource for sports commissions, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), and sports event owners.
John served as a member of the Sports ETA Board of Directors for eleven years, representing the Rights Holder category. In 2022, he became the Secretary of the Board, making him the first Rights Holder elected to the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Sports ETA, John was the Chief Strategy Officer of USA BMX, the world’s largest sanctioning body for the Olympic sport of bicycle motocross racing (BMX). During his 23-year tenure at USA BMX, John helped the association double its membership and more than triple its revenue. He also produced two Olympic Trials, co-coordinated the unification of the sport in the USA, and spearheaded the campaign for the creation of the new USA BMX headquarters, arena, museum, and Hall of Fame in Tulsa, OK.
John also serves on the City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Board and is a UCI International Commissaire. He has received numerous industry awards, most recently being named the Sports ETA Rights Holder of the Year in 2021.
John and his wife Jennifer reside in Chandler, Arizona, and have three daughters: Faith, Grace, and Jolie.
