What: The Chattanooga African American Museum pays homage to Chattanooga historic names like The Impressions, Bessie Smith, Reggie White, Venus Lacy, and many more. See replicas of former 9th street businesses, learn about the Civil Rights movement in Chattanooga, and the city’s Negro League baseball teams.
When: Open Tuesday through Friday and in April extended to Saturdays
Where: 200 E. M.L. King Blvd. (inside the Bessie Smith Cultural Center)
