Calling all pickle lovers! Pickle Barrel, one of the oldest restaurants in downtown Chattanooga, found its fame in the circa 1893 park plaza which was constructed for the Southern Railway. In the early 1930’s this building became home to the Triangle Grill, which closed in 1979 and reopened as the original location of the religious group and restaurant, the Yellow Deli. Their stay was short lived and in 1982, Pickle Barrel took over the building. Pickle Barrel gives local dive bar vibes with a whimsical atmosphere.
