My job in one sentence: I am in sales and basically sell the city to meetings and conventions trying to get them to meet in Chattanooga! Three things I love: The sunshine and outdoors, being with my kids/family, and sports! My go-to recommendation for when folks visit Chattanooga: Depending on the time of year, summer being my favorite, you don't want to miss being on the river - rent a kayak and take a trip up and down the river and around Maclellan Island. You not only experience the city from another aspect on the river but all of the wildlife around the island.

My job in one sentence: I tell corporate meeting planners how great Chattanooga is so they book their meetings here. Three things I love to do: Travel, go to concerts, and spend time with my dog, Cooper. My go-to recommendation for when folks visit Chattanooga: Spend time exploring downtown- there's so much to do in a walkable space.
Jeannie Tatum Business Development Director
My job in one sentence: I get to tell people how great Chattanooga is and help them picture why we are the perfect place to hold their next event, family vacation, or next place to call home. Three things I love to do: I love to travel and explore what makes other Cities and Countries unique. We are a family of eaters; we love good food either made in our own kitchen, dining at some of Chattanooga's best local spots, or stumbling upon a great food find while traveling. Because of my love for food, I also have a love for working out although it has been harder to find the time to squeeze in these days. My go-to recommendation for when folks visit Chattanooga: I love soo many things about Chattanooga. It is hard to choose just one, however, if I was forced i would say a hike up to Snoopers Rock to catch the sunrise or sunset. It is truly breathtaking and peaceful! For those who can't hike, there is parking available just a few steps away from Snoopers Rock.

I was born and raised in the Netherlands and after living in different places such as: London, Alabama, and New Zealand I somehow ended up in Chattanooga! Growing up I played a lot of different sports but Korfball, a mixed gender ball sport similar to netball and basketball, was my favorite. Unfortunately, this sport is still mostly unknown in the USA, so it is one of my goals to change that! I have degrees in both Sports as well as International Leisure and Event Management. Through my travels I have mainly worked in the hospitality and tourism industry and am excited that I can apply both my professional experience and degree in this position. As an avid runner it is right up my alley to mainly focus on the outdoor sports.

I moved to Chattanooga five years ago after falling in love with all that the Scenic City has to offer. Since then, I have worked my way up through the hospitality field getting to know all about the best of the city. Now, I get to use my expertise as a Sports Event Manager to connect our clients with hoteliers, local restaurants, and VIP amenities. I enjoy helping our partners have the best experience possible through being "Aggressively Welcoming" and ensuring each event gets top notch hospitality. I look forward to showing you why Chattanooga is the best destination for your event!

After growing up and living in Florida for over 20 years, it was time for a change. I moved to Chattanooga in August of 2022 and haven't looked back. I primarily played basketball growing up, but discovered disc golf in college and am now an avid thrower of plastic discs! Working at Chattanooga Sports gives me the opportunity to explore all Chattanooga has to offer and meet so many amazing people that are passionate about their sport and what they do. Let's connect to talk about bringing your event here and making it the best it can be, or if you just want to talk about the latest disc golf news!
