Things to Do
There are so many paths, trails, and hikes within Chattanooga and in its surrounding areas! A local favorite is Sunset Rock which has a gorgeous overlook to, you guessed it, watch the sun set, and the Cravens House Trail used to get there takes you to historic Point Park and comes so alive with flowers in the Spring. It looks like something out of a dream! We would also recommend taking a drive out to Raccoon Mountain to take in some of their trails or go spelunking under the mountain at Raccoon Mountain Caverns but mainly to take some Insta pictures on the iconic strip of Raccoon Mountain Road.
Are you wanting to do more than just hike? We’ve got you! In Northshore, you can mosey on up to L2 Outside and rent kayaks and paddleboards to take out onto the Tennessee river for some fun. There are also multiple guided kayak tours you could hop on. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, on the Southside you can take some pre-wedding jitters and stresses out at Valkyrie Axe Throwing. They teach you how to throw axes and knives, and how to do trick shots. Plus, they have a selection of alcoholic beverages to enjoy!
Where to Eat & Drink
After throwing axes, hiking mountains, and paddling around the river, you and your girls are probably starving. If you’re coming down Lookout Mountain after a hike stop in St. Elmo and grab some food from The Tap House or 1885 Grill. The Tap House has 30 beers on tap ranging from light to dark and ciders to sours, they also have plenty of cocktails to choose from, and some good shareables, burgers, and sandwiches. If you’re looking for a little more variety, 1885 Grill is a great choice with seafood, steaks, salmon, sandwiches, and delicious cocktails, plus they have weekly specials every day of the week except for Saturdays and live music on their shaded patio.
If you're over on the Northshore, Basecamp has a great outdoor space, lots of beer, and a variety of simply good food. However, if we’re feeling more in the mood for a fiesta we would recommend going to Taco Mamacita for some to-die-for tacos and margaritas on their great patio or inside with some A/C. If you’re in need of a nice pick-me-up you can also stop by Milk and Honey for a Chattanooga staple Milk and Honey latte or some made-in-house gelato.
Over on the Southside, Oddstory Brewing Co just opened a new location, with a massive patio, yummy food, and plenty of beer.
Where to Stay
If you're looking for somewhere to stay we would recommend the Crash Pad, Chattanooga's only hostel. The Crash Pad is super popular with climbers and hikers visiting to experience Chattanooga's great outdoors! Definitely worth looking into.

Things to Do
Here in Chattanooga, we’ve got several local bookstores you have to see while we’re here like The Book & Cover and Winder Binder. These magical places must be explored before you go, it’s the perfect place to grab a souvenir. The Book & Cover isn’t just a bookstore, they have some scrumptious coffee as well. It is a must-see for our book lovers!
Beyond books, there are plenty of things to do that don’t require you to suddenly become an extrovert who loves people. Check out the Chattanooga Market on Sundays! With lots of local artists, food trucks, and a bar plus a different theme every weekend it’s a fun way to take in Chattanooga! There is also The Pottery Place where you and your bridesmaids can pick pieces of pottery to paint together for a chill afternoon. Or Check out Good Fortune for some make-and-take products and they have a boutique spa ( the CBD massage is our favorite)! Venture over to Market Street and step into the floral fantasy that is Joli Jardin. In this European-style flower shop, you can make your own bouquet from locally grown flowers or pick a pre-made one. Regardless, their flowers are just gorgeous and they have other neat things in their store like plants, notebooks & planners, candles, and stationery to name a few!
Where to Eat & Drink
After The Book & Cover, you should absolutely have breakfast at Aretha Frankenstein's. This quirky little place not too far from the bookshop is famous for its phenomenal pancakes! It truly feels like eating a homemade meal, just like grandma used to make!
If we’re looking for somewhere nice and quiet for a nice dinner check out Alleia. It’s delicious Italian food with great cocktails and an even better dark and sophisticated atmosphere. Or you could stay on the Northshore and get some sushi at Totto!
For drinks, go to Matilda Midnight. It’s a smaller bar with a witchy, mystical vibe and fantastic drinks!
Where to Stay
Matilda Midnight would be a great place for a nightcap before heading upstairs at The Dwell Hotel to your vintage chic rooms!

Things to Do
Get on a Pints and Pedals tour! You get to see the city with a beer in hand, and you get to stop at certain bars and stretch your legs by getting another drink! Check out a comedy show at The Comedy Catch, they bring in comedians from all over, and some even have specials on your favorite streaming service. Get some shopping at Warehouse Row, they have an Anthropologie, Lululemon, and a gorgeous store called Embellish that holds a lot of luxury brands. There's nothing wrong with a little splurging when you're celebrating!
Where to Eat & Drink
Food-wise, Brunch is where it is at in Chattanooga, especially on weekend mornings. State of Confusion has a great brunch with $2 mimosas and $5 bloody marys, and they have plenty of space for larger parties. We would suggest getting there before noon to skip the wait! Public House is a great restaurant for Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner and it’s within Warehouse Row so it’s great for a post-shopping meal. Over on the Southside, Stir is a must-go. Stir has a large menu of cocktails (including espresso martinis), a fabulous atmosphere, and a large menu to choose from.
For drinks check out Alan Gold’s, it’s a bar and club that puts on drag shows every night, or go to Reagan’s Retro Bar for some 80’s themed fun. There is also the brand-new Whiskey Cowgirl which features a mechanical bull, a swimming pool, a huge patio, live music, and great drinks.
Check out Pickle barrel if you're out late and looking for food and maybe some more drinks. This uniquely shaped building serves fantastic food really late and has some good drinks too.
Where to Stay
If you're looking for a hotel as cute and fun as you and your girls check out the Moxy or the Kinley. The Moxy has you check in at their hotel bar and even gives you a check-in drink to start your stay off right! They have lots of lounge space, a patio, and tons of games to play. It's a great built-in place to start or end the night. The Kinley offers rooms with bunk beds for that youthful sleepover feel, and it's budget-friendly so you can have more drinks!

Things to Do
Head to the Bluff View Art’s District and take a stroll through the Hunter Museum of American Art, Houston Museum of Decorative Arts, or River Gallery’s Sculpture Gardens. Head over to the Northshore and explore all of the shops with handmade items, artwork, jewelry, crystals, and so much more. Some highlights to check out are: I Go Tokyo, Blue Skies, Collective Clothing, All Things Groovy, and Locals Only. Taking a picnic out to Sculpture Fields and exploring all the public art not only sounds fantastic but will look fantastic on the gram.
Where to Eat & Drink
While in the Art’s District check out Rembrandt’s for coffee, tea, pastries, and lunch, it would be a perfect place to pick up food for your picnic! A great spot for pasta and some wine is Tony’s, also in the Art’s District. Tony’s makes their pasta in-house, and you can taste the love they put into it.
In Northshore, check out Frazier’s Five and Dime for brunch, lunch, dinner, or just a couple of cocktails. They put so much though into their seasonal menu and you will not be disappointed! Stop into Opa! for an authentic Greek meal experience and a beautiful patio space. Looking for something low-key and yummy? Check out Cherry Street Brewing Company and Restaurant for great food and some cold beers, they often have live music too.
Ready to go out for the night? Head on over to the Southside, and start at Hi-Fi Clyde's. They have a really cool atmosphere, great food, fun cocktails, and sometimes live music! From there, check out some of the cool bars Downtown has to offer like Boneyard Bar, No Hard Feelings, Unknown Caller, and Bitter Alibi.
