Welcome to Chattanooga, where the art is bold, the views are scenic, and the running routes are worth writing home about. Whether you’re into murals, river views, or sculptures that make you stop mid-stride for a photo, these curated routes will show you a side of the Scenic City most visitors don’t get to see.

Bluff View Art District - 1 Mile

 

This short-and-sweet loop is ideal for a light jog, or a morning shakeout run. Wind through the Bluff View Art District, where you’ll pass galleries, sculptures, and colorful street art.

Parking: Free 2-hour street parking on Battery Place and in front of Manker Patten Tennis Club.

Main Street - 3 Miles

 

Explore Chattanooga’s Southside, a hotspot for street art and murals. This route gives you an up-close look at local artists’ work spanning across buildings and alleyways.

Parking: There is street parking all along Main Street and there is a paid parking lot at the start of the route.

Northshore - 4 Miles

 

Start your run next at the iconic blue bull sculpture overlooking the river, then cruise past murals, sidewalk art that teaches you traditional dances, and the neighborhood charm of Chattanooga's Northshore.

Parking: There is a paid parking lot at the start of the route and plenty of street parking all around the Northshore.

Blue Goose Hollow - 5 Miles

 

This trailhead along the Tennessee River Park’s riverwalk starts with a vibrant sculpture and takes you along a path through industrial art and scenery. Where city meets nature vibes.

Parking: Free lot at the trailhead, with public restrooms and water fountains.

Riverwalk - 10 Miles

 

The riverwalk (part of the Tennessee River Park) is a local favorite for a reason. This long trail follows the Tennessee River, with stunning views, public art, and plenty of spots to stop and refuel.

Parking: Free street parking in front of Manker Patten Tennis Club. Bathrooms and water fountains are spaced out along the route.
