In the heart of Chattanooga, Main Street Farmer's Market opens every Wednesday from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. From yummy desserts to fresh produce, this farmer's market has everything from sweet to savory. While all the vendors bring quality food, drinks, and passion, here are four must-see stops.
Bread & Butter
Bread & Butter is a sourdough-driven artisan bakery that includes a variety of breads, croissants, cookies, pies, and much more. The croissants and breads are handcrafted and created from scratch using high-quality ingredients sourced from local farmers. The bakery uses a special fermentation technique, which sets its freshness and quality apart from others.
Ada's Heritage Farm
With the drive to create a lifestyle for everyone that's "better, healthier, and local," Ada's Heritage Farm uses regenerative farming techniques to ensure natural and organic processes from the chickens to the soil. Ada's offers everything from fresh produce like tomatoes, bok choy, carrots, and potatoes to eggs and hand-crafted jellies.
Chattanooga Culture
With a love for fermentation and holistic lifestyles, Chattanooga Culture creates unique kombucha and fermentation products. Owner, Matt Cone, has a degree in Health and Wellness from Life University and has had a passion for kombucha for 6 years before culminating all his knowledge into one holistic company. They currently offer a variety of yerba mate, coffee, and tea based kombucha flavors in both kegs and bottles, all made with non-toxic and sustainable ingredients.
They recently opened a brick & mortar location called, The Kombucha Lounge, where you can grab some booch or kava drink and relax a spell. They also host monthly events, keep up with what they have going on on their Instagram and Facebook.
Bird Fork Farm
Bird Fork Farm makes entirely local products out of plants that owner Alysia and Graig forage themselves. They sell things like spices, herbs, loose tea blends, tinctures, and natural body/hair care products. Alysia and Graig do more than forage, create, and sell products, they also care deeply about teaching the community about the value of herbs and herbal medicine through workshops and other events.
See you at the market!
These vendors (and many others) are here at the Main St. Farmer's Market every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Whether you're wanting local farm fresh produce, herbal tea blends, a refreshing drink, or a sweet treat, the market has something good in store for you.
