The Lookout Wild Film Festival (LWFF), a must-attend event for adventure and environmental enthusiasts, returns to Chattanooga, Tennessee, from January 17-19, 2025. Hosted at The Signal, this three-day festival celebrates the beauty of wild places and the people they inspire through film.

Founded in 2013, LWFF has grown into a premier adventure festival, attracting over 4,000 attendees to enjoy breathtaking films about conservation, outdoor exploration, and human resilience. Whether you're into rock climbing, kayaking, or epic travel adventures, the festival showcases stories that connect us to nature and inspire a sense of wonder.

This year’s event is presented by Gearhead Outfitters (formerly Rock/Creek), whose mission to support and protect the wild aligns perfectly with the festival’s core themes.

The lineup will include documentaries like “Keep Up,” the inspiring story of musician and triathlete Ryan Kinder. Known for his powerful voice and guitar playing, Kinder takes his talents beyond the stage as he trains for the Ironman World Championship in Chattanooga while recording his second country-rock album. This captivating film follows his journey of balancing music and athleticism—an adventure you won’t want to miss. The festival will feature several local bands who will play music in between the featured films, an expo by Gearhead Outfitters, and many other activities.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online, at The Signal Box Office, or Gearhead Outfitters locations in Tennessee. Bonus: buying in-store gets you a free limited-edition tee!
