Story Ideas for Chattanooga

Chattanooga continues to benefit from a hotel boom adding to their abundance of lush accommodations for visitors to enjoy. In the last year the city has welcomed Kinley Chattanooga, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel featuring a modern speakeasy, and Common House 3, a modern social club with accommodations for members and non-members. Additional hotel openings include Aloft by Marriott, Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham, and Hotel Indigo

This year openings include AVID Hotel, Element by Westin and two TownePlace Suites in East Ridge and the other in Hixson. For hotel renovations, the world-famous Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel will receive a facelift converting into a 4-star boutique property featuring luxury Pullman Train Car suites this winter. The Chattanooga Marriott Downtown at the Convention Center is also undergoing renovations to be completed this year.

Sophisticated travelers can enjoy Chattanooga’s luxury accommodations by staying at The Edwin Hotel, a 5-story luxury boutique property featuring 90 rooms; The Read House Historic Inn and Suites which underwent a major $20 million renovation; or The Dwell which offers a swanky take on mid-century modern with colorful retro features. Chattanooga’s luxury lodgings also include the classic, 260-room Westin Hotel located downtown. Guests can complement their upscale stay with one of Chattanooga’s fine dining options such as St. John’s Restaurant, offering seasonal American fare, or Easy Bistro, the city’s chill French bistro and raw bar. Afterwards, take a stroll through Bluff View Art District, offering Instagram-worthy shots of the river, picturesque city views and structures that date from the early 1900s.
