In-Kind Marketing

Chattanooga Tourism Advancement

Chattanooga Tourism Co.’s In-Kind Marketing program assists our partners in promoting visitor experiences. The purpose of the in-kind program is to support events that currently draw in a mostly Chattanooga crowd, but are interested in growth and have the potential to draw in visitors as well.

About the Program

The program provides in-kind promotion through Chattanooga Tourism Company’s media channels: billboards, email, social media, and our website,, which sees 2-3 million visitors annually. The events must align with one or more of the Tourism Co.’s strategic goals.

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process for in-kind partnerships includes, and is not limited to:

Location of Event:

The event must take place in Hamilton County and drive tourism for the economic and social impact of the community.

Event Request Date:

The application must be submitted to Chattanooga Tourism at least 90 days prior to the proposed event.

Event Size:

The size of the event will be a factor in determining the level of marketing value provided. See the Tier chart below.

Recognition of Chattanooga Tourism Co. Partnership:

Chattanooga Tourism will review the offered recognition of our partnership/sponsorship as a criteria for awarding in-kind marketing. Should your partnership request be approved, Chattanooga Tourism Co. logo and or name will be provided for all agreed-upon recognition. Chattanooga Tourism staff will need to sign off on all sponsor materials that include Chattanooga Tourism.

Funding Availability:

Partnership fund availability is based on Chattanooga Tourism’s yearly budgeted allocation for this purpose.
